Adani Total Private Limited
In Dhamra, TotalEnergies alongside Adani is operating an LNG import terminal.
Dhamra LNG Terminal Private Limited (DLTPL) owns and operates 5 million tons per annum (MTPA) LNG terminal within Dhamra Port located in Bhadrak District, Odisha.
The terminal has a peak capacity of 6.5 MTPA with a provision to expand to 10 MTPA. The terminal includes two storage tanks with a capacity of 180,000 m³ each, and is equipped with ship reloading and truck loading facilities. The terminal is also compatible for all vessels ranging from 40,000 m3 to 265,000 m3.
DLTPL is a 100% subsidiary of Adani Total Private Limited (ATPL), which is a 50:50 joint venture between Adani and TotalEnergies. The terminal got commissioned on 6th May 2023 and since then, it has received 31 LNG cargoes till date.
DLTPL has entered into a 20-year LNG regasification agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL). The terminal will act as a primary source of natural gas supply to the JHBDPL (Jagdishpur Haldia Bokaro Dhamra Pipeline), also referred as the Urja Ganga Gas Pipeline network, which transverses across multiple geographies over its length of 2,800 kms. It will cater to energy requirements of Eastern Indian states like Assam, Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal.
