Another major initiative was donation of breath analyzers to the Dakshin Kannada Police and organizing free eye consultations for the locals.
The team also actively takes part in marathons organized by various hospitals to raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases.

An Initiative for People to Acheive their Full Potential
TotalEnergies collaborates with Sambhav Foundation to train and access individuals through an automotive service technician course.
This course imparts skill development training to the participants and enhances their livelihoods in Auto Service Technician trade.
The participants primarily come from an economically weaker section of the society, this includes school drop-outs and those who are unemployed for various reasons…
With a focus on two and three-wheeler segments, this course is aligned to the National Skill Development Mission and is available in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.
From counseling and creating a customized curriculum to impart training, providing certifications and placements, TotalEnergies is with the trainees at every step.

Benefits of the Program
Naim Shaikh- Being the sole earning member of the family, Naim’s father a daily wage laborer could not make ends meet for his family. Naim wanted to turn things around. During a mobilization drive, he got to know about the Automotive Service Technician Training Program and after he participated in it, things completely changed for him.
Ahmed Patel- Being a school dropout and working in a small garage in Pune, Ahmed was finding it difficult to make ends meet for his family. After completing the training successfully, he bagged a job at New Maharashtra Auto Garage in Pune as a two-wheeler mechanic. Within a few months, his confidence enhanced and experience enabled him to buy the same garage he previously worked for.

In India, Road Safety is a key pillar & the initiatives focus on education, enforcement & emergency care. Our flagship program, ViA, is a global road safety education program for children. More than 113K students have been trained nationwide, creating ambassadors for safe mobility who are bringing change in behavior.
Other programs include educating youth on two-wheeler road safety and providing quality helmets, training citizen first responders for post-crash care, and imparting defensive driver training and eye check-ups to commercial vehicle drivers among others.
