An Encompassing Strategy To Mitigate
Carbon Dioxide Emission
A bio-digester project in collaboration with GoodPlanet Foundation of France and SKG Sangha to reduce carbon dioxide emission was initiated by TotalEnergies at Telangana

Encourage The Usage Of Biogas Instead Of Wood And LPG
The bio-digester project with about 30 units commissioned led to villagers being trained about the increase in quality of life with introduction of clean fuel, construction and operation of digesters, cooking with bio-gas, etc

Increase
In Economic Opportunity
We will manufacture some 80 molds for the project. Bio-digester is a simple structure with a concrete tank in the ground, a dome to collect bio-gas generated through an inlet/outlet arrangement

Biodigesters
create biogas
They are concrete tanks used for fermenting organic material. Methane-producing microbes synthesize the biogas (CH4) during the fermentation process. Biodigesters have three parts: -an inlet tank -a fermentation tank -a digestate storage tank.

Benefits for
the environment:
Reduction of deforestation

Benefits for
the community:
Women and children save time collecting fireword-or even stop altogether

Benefits for
the health:
By decreasing the risk of respiratory and eye infections caused by indoor air pollution, it improves the living conditions of local populations especially women and children

Benefits for
the economy:
Lessens the need to buy cooking fuel and synthetic chemicals to fertilize the soil

The biodigester has changed our lives a lot...
I would like everyone to be as happy as we are.
