Center for Digital InnovationIn partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), TotalEnergies began developing a digital innovation center in Pune in 2018.The partnership develops digital platforms for the Refining & Chemicals and Exploration & Production verticals of the Company as well as digital prototype, focusing on exploring disruptive technologies and solutions for the sustainability activities of the Company’s ambition towards Net Zero emissions. It further evaluates digital research and innovation projects for other business segments (such as generative design approach for Gas Renewable & Power), leveraging TCS and TotalEnergies ecosystems. Recently this center is deploying, running and scaling MVP (Minimum Valuable Product) developed by TotalEnergies’ Digital Factory in Paris (more than 40 by end of 2022). To date, the center engages more than 260+ TCS employees over 12 different programs. |

Technical Center Asia PacificThis center carries out Research & Development for Fuels and Lubricants, providing innovative, sustainable, cost-effective, and efficient energy solutions for global customers by utilizing the local ecosystemTCAP is responsible to develop lubricants for mobility and for industry (motorcycle, transmission, off-road, metal working and textile applications), special fluids (including drilling fluids) and synthetize novel additives for oil field production. This R&D center is well equipped in tribology and analytical equipment for a deep characterization of the products (composition and performance). Started in 2012, the center has now more than 40 researchers. |
