Ahmedabad, India – January 15, 2026: TotalEnergies today announced the launch of the first edition of the TotalEnergies India Energy Outlook Summit 2026 (TEO Summit) to be hosted at the IIT Gandhinagar (IIT GN) campus on 14th February 2026. The TEO Summit is part of broader collaborations between TotalEnergies and IIT Gandhinagar.

The TEO Summit, a first of its kind, is envisioned as an annual platform to foster dialogue and insight into the future of energy transition. It aims to position the TotalEnergies Energy Outlook publication as a go-to reference on all energy transition matters for the next generation of leaders.   This flagship event, specifically targeting students and young professionals, will bring together academics, industry mentors, and policy experts to engage on the ever-important topic of energy transition.

“By combining academic rigor with industry guidance and geopolitical realities, we hope to spark practical solutions for India’s net-zero ambitions while showcasing the TotalEnergies Energy Outlook publication as a valuable blueprint for action in India and around the world” said Dr. Sangkaran RATNAM, Country Chair, TotalEnergies, India.

The TEO Summit, which will be accessible both LIVE at the IIT-G campus and ONLINE, will feature Thomas-Olivier LEAUTIER, Chief Economist TotalEnergies who flies in from Paris to present the TEO LIVE at IIT GN followed by a LIVE discussion and debate with an eminent list of panellists from both industry and academia.

An ONLINE and LIVE Q&A engagement with the audience is planned followed by the much anticipated ‘elevator pitches’ from the pan-India student teams participating in the “IDEATHON”; a three week online competition leading up to the Summit.   “IDEATHON” winners, selected through audience voting, will be unveiled on February 15th, 2026, with top teams earning sponsored site visits to TotalEnergies operating facilities in India and abroad.
